Does it matter if my site uses .asp, .php, .jsp, .cfm, etc?
No, the Gosswire players will work with any web site. Gosswire uses Flash, a free plug-in already installed in most web enabled computers. We recommend at least a version 7of the Flash player. The player is available from here.

How does Gosswire differ from other web audio systems?
Gosswire is an organised and dynamic audio system, categorising audio into topical threads.  Most audio systems require user intervention each time a new audio recording is added to a web site. Not so with Gosswire!  Just add our code block once only to your page, and you have created a dynamic audio portal. 

Gosswire can also take care of hosting your audio, though not necessarily. Users may choose to Upload recordings to our system, or Link MP3 audio from other internet sources.

How does Gosswire differ from web voicemail systems?
Gosswire provides a way of publishing audio recordings. It is not intended to duplicate personal voice messaging systems which act mainly as online answering machines, accessible only by those who own the service.

How can I use individual Gosswire messages throughout my existing web site?
Easy. Create a Topic for each player instance you wish to use, and simply insert the provided HTML block into your web site at the place you want the audioSpot player to appear.

You can update audio for that instance whenever you like using your computer microphone or a telephone, via a file upload, or by linking to another audio file - you don't need to touch your web page again!

What happens if I exceed my bandwidth allocation?
Bandwidth usage is tracked and calculated on a monthly basis.  If you do exceed usage, you will be notified via email and offered an upgrade of your account services.  Alternatively, you may choose to retain your account level and make a payment in accordance with the excess bandwidth use.

Is it possible to send an email notification with my Gosswire audio to an email list?
Yes! If you choose, the Gosswire system will send an email notifcation containing a link to your Gosswire player.

Simply log in to your account, and go to your Topic settings. Enter in your email address list* into the Email notification field.  Your email list will be notified each time your Topic is updated with a new audio recording (f your Topic does not require your moderation).  How easy is that!  ( * Up to 100 addresses)
